OUTFLUENCED

OUTFLUENCED is a collective of inquiring creative minds with a focus on all things cutting edge. Redrawing the globe without social, ethnic or 'business as usual' boundaries, we discover, dissect and help to evolve the ideas and brands that enhance the lifestyles and environment around us. It's a new way to communicate.

Time Waits For No One
The Ralph Christian Chronograph in Rose Gold and ceramic. Look familiar? It should! First brought to our attention by multiple bloggers as far back as 2011, it seems as if after an unexplained hiatus, the brand has ‘resurfaced’ via its parent company and via (of all things!) a blog on (you guessed it!) Tumblr!

Now, as keen as we are about these things, our sources tell us there WAS NO BLOG showcasing the RC brand prior to our style blogger friends putting the brand on the map. The more curious of you will actually find (or remember) an RC beta site, apparently also smartly crafted by whoever handled the brand back then, creating a mystique that had everyone from sartorial masters to pro athletes clamoring for the brand!

Somehow, this seems like a poor copycat scenario by the parent company and the very lackluster look/feel of the blog suggests that the same team is no longer at the helm. Ah well…Plagiarism at its finest!
